Introduction

Grace, mercy, and peace...

Today we celebrate a unique event in the life of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. No one has made such an incredible and undeniable impression as a humble Jewish man named Jesus. He forever altered the flow of human history and changed eternity for countless millions.

The uniqueness in his coming

1. His coming was very humble

• He made himself nothing
• He took on the form of a servant
• He was made in the likeness of man

2. His coming was very holy

• Peter 2:22
• Corinthians 5:21
• Hebrews 4:15
• John 19:4

This is the basis of our celebration this morning! We wave our palms this morning symbolizing the victory he won for us.
