Introduction
Today from our gospel text Jesus lets us know that our joy in him is not circumstantial but rather eternal. Let’s together see why our joy in Christ cannot or should not be hindered. I Hope and pray that you are blessed through this message.

I. BECAUSE OF YOUR ETERNAL SALVATION - 1 John 3:1-2
The benefits are...
a. We have a relationship Galatians 4:4-6
b. when a roman child was adopted, three things happened
1. complete change of name
2. had all the rights of a legitimate son
3. lost all rights in his old family

II. BECAUSE OF YOUR ETERNAL PROTECTION – Luke 10:20
a. why is this so important?
b. the Lord Jesus gives a promise... Rev. 3:5

III. BECAUSE OF YOUR ETERNAL SATISFACTION
a. the difference between heaven and hell...
b. Think of what that means...
