Introduction

Grace, mercy, and peace...

The first time I was told the definition of the word Christian I was surprised.

Before we delve deeper into the definition of the name Christian, let’s first talk about the origin and purpose of names...

Let’s define the word Christian: a person who is a baptized follower of Jesus Christ

To push this a little further, looking at our Lord’s own life, let’s see some of the attributes that Christians need to reflect

A Humble Mindset

• Made himself nothing
• Servant

The mark of true servanthood begins with the emptying of oneself.
